Car chases, explosions, cities being destroyed, torrid love scenes – this film hasn’t got any of them, and a bloody good job that is too.
While not even close to his earlier films such as This is England (2006) or Dead Man’s Shoes (2004), this is a beautiful little slice of ‘rockumentary’ fun from Shane Meadows.
