The European Film Academy Young Audience Award, first introduced in 2012 on occasion of the 25th European Film Awards, will be presented this year in the framework of a Young Audience Film Day on Sunday, 5 May.
The three nominated films will be screened to young audiences which will then elect the winner. Among this year’s participating cities will be Amsterdam/The Netherlands, Belgrade/Serbia, Erfurt/Germany, London/UK, Norrköping/Sweden, Sofia/Bulgaria, Turin/Italy and Wroclaw/Poland.
Deadline for the submission of proposals is 25 January 2013.

The European Film Academy Young Audience Award is organized and presented by the European Film Academy and EFA Productions with the support of the Mitteldeutsche Medienförderung (MDM). The national Young Audience Film Day events will be organized with the support of the respective national partners.
