Written by James on October 22, 2008 – 7:26 pm -
And, guess what? Our man James got it wrong, of course, a fact that will come as no surprise to anyone who has ever read any of his Oscars predictions…

Written by Colin on September 3, 2008 – 5:06 pm -
To celebrate the 75th birthday of the BFI Southbank, the British Film Institute asked 75 celebrities (some you may have heard of, the rest appear to be fillers) for their favourite film.

Short and sometimes sweet
Written by Colin on August 27, 2008 – 9:47 am -
Having returned after taking a few days off from, well, from everything except eating, drinking and sleeping, I come back to the news that not very much has been going on in Tinseltown or anywhere else for that matter. There are a few stories worth an honourable mention in this news round-up, so I’m going to ease myself back in by summing them up in as few words as possible. This is either an exercise in minimalist journalism, or sheer laziness. It’s your call.

Scarlett Johansson threesome shocker!
Written by Colin on August 17, 2008 – 8:21 pm -
Oh yes…
I’d like to say you heard it here first, but it’s all over the bloody internet by now. On the back of her ‘controversial’ three-way sex romp with Javier Bardem and Penelope Cruz in the new Woody Allen potential yawn-fest Vicky Cristina Barcelona (2008), scarlettjohansson.com has made the official offer of a threesome of your very own with the eponymous young lady.

Picturenose and Cineuropa: A perfect partnership
Written by James on August 8, 2008 – 5:56 pm -
It’s all go at the mo - as we promised a little while back, Picturenose is now enhancing its European cinema credentials. We have teamed up with Cineuropa.org to offer visitors to both websites the chance to enjoy even more of the limpid prose from Colin and James to which Picturenose and Expatica.com readers are now long accustomed, via the brand-new European Film Awards Reviews blog.

Zombie Survival 101
Written by Colin on August 7, 2008 – 11:14 am -
Here at Picturenose Central, we are in shock. After a furious bidding war, we fell just $6,999,999 short of the $7 million required to publish exclusive pictures of the Pitt/Jolie twins, so instead, we have an amusing picture of a horse. We thank you for your understanding at this difficult time. Read more »

Won’t Somebody Think Of The Children?
Written by Colin on August 4, 2008 – 4:30 pm -
Many of you will know that I am an unashamed Batman fan, and always have been. I was quite happy - eager, even, that my eldest son (who’s 10) should come to see it with me. For me, it’s the same thing as the Dads who drag their children of two years or so to see Nohope United every Saturday when the poor buggers have no idea what’s going on. I at least waited until I thought was mentally mature enough to get something out of the experience.
